OUR ADVISORS

MESA is delighted to partner with innovative doers and thinkers in the sustainable agriculture field who help us shape our programs according to the evolving needs of our stewards and hosts. These organizations and individuals represent various disciplines, constituencies, and perspectives; helping us to broaden our view of the entire system so that we can provide comprehensive program offerings.

The following organizations and individuals have acted in advisory roles; provided trainings and workshops for the annual orientation and seminar; and collaborated on program development:

Isabel Quiroz, from Aguascalientes, Mexico and a 2013 MESA Steward, is developing plans for a community garden to provide healthy food, training in social change and food justice, and a peaceful sanctuary for victims of domestic violence.

MESA’s Summer-Peru Program aims to connect allies in global stewardship for a reciprocal, cross-cultural exchange of innovation and ancestral knowledge in farming. Learn how Peruvian Alumni are continuing their outstanding work with their communities.
