orientation_linedance2.jpgMESA is getting ready to welcome the incoming group of stewards from Ecuador, Nepal, Peru, Sri Lanka, Thailand and the Republic of Georgia. Looking forward to Orientation 2012!

Orientation is just around the corner, and MESA is preparing for a whole week of activities with the new stewards at Hidden Villa Farm. The stewards arrive Sunday, March 25th for their 5-night stay at the lovely Hidden Villa Hostel in Los Altos Hills.

In addition to group bonding activities, workshops, shared meals and the occasional bonfire- stewards will be meeting some of our favorite host farmers and farm educators from California.

We invite our friends and partners to join us on Wednesday, March 28th for a special evening event welcoming this year's stewards.  We will start with a tour of the farm at 6pm. Immediately following the tour, enjoy drinks, appetizers and mingling with farmers from around the world.

At 7:30pm MESA's event chef and volunteers will serve a rustic, Spring feast inspired by fresh farm ingredients. Don't miss out!

A suggested donation of $25 is payable online or at the event.  No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Please RSVP here before Friday, March 23rd.

Thanks of course to our fabulous 2012 Orientation Donors who make this event possible:

MESA’s Summer-Peru Program (June 25 to August 6, 2014) aims to connect allies in global stewardship for a reciprocal, cross-cultural exchange of innovation and ancestral knowledge in farming.

MESA's 9th Annual Cultural Cuisine Celebration and Forging Farmers Fundraiser was an event to remember!
