At MESA, our roots run deep--with 30 years of commitment to championing ancestral knowledge, spurring innovation, and cultivating community between sustainable growers, global citizens, and community organizations advancing agroecology to rebuild a healthy, just, and joyful food system.

Over the years, MESA has sponsored 1000+ global exchange Stewards, spearheaded online agroecology courses, and funded hundreds of alumni-led projects around the globe.

A grassroots, California-based nonprofit with a big vision, MESA strives to innovate and improve upon our annual program offerings, welcoming sustainable farms, businesses, organizations and supporters to join us and usher in a more collaborative and restorative future.
